The story behind the shot – Whitby Sunset

This was one of those ‘put the camera on the tripod and wait’ evenings but that’s one of the great things about landscape photography especially before and after sunrise or sunset, or after a storm; you can set up, relax and watch the light change. It certainly beats getting to a location late and racing around like roadrunner on speed! Planning’s really important!
