The Big Kick Off, Celebrity Charity Event

Hallam Football Club hosted the above event yesterday in aid of The Children’s Hospital Charity and Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. A great day of entertainment such as dancing displays, raffles and appearances by Batman and Spiderman (yes, the real ones!) Oh, and then there was the football match of course; Boxers v Celebrities, a pulsating game which the Celebrities won, I think about 8-6, (I sort of lost track!) The biggest problem for me was trying to take photos whilst holding a brolly during a downpour – didn’t really work; there was much drying out of gear when I got home. If you know anyone who has a third hand they don’t want, I’ll make them an offer – it would’ve been very useful. The weather didn’t put folk off though – I’ve never seen the ground as full – brilliant! I’ve posted a few shots below.
