Some cute pictures for a Friday afternoon

We’ve recently returned from a holiday in Boat of Garten, a great base for walking and photography. This was the first time that I’d had the chance to catch a red squirrel on camera mainly because there was enough light (for a change) and the squirrel kept relatively still for a bit now and again (also for a change).

A telephoto lens, fast shutter speed, spot focussing  (and a lot of patience) all combined to get the shots.
