Backlit Storm
This shot was taken from Latrigg and is of a storm across the valley at sunset. Very dramatic, very spectacular. One of the people with us remarked that it was quite a sight, adding “we’re going to get wet in a minute”. Helen didn’t hear it. I ignored it. Guess what! Within a minute we got wet. It was a bit like having a bucket of water thrown over you, except maybe you’d have got less wet if you’d had a bucket of water thrown over you! It was a 15 minute walk/run/stagger back to the car. Wilf (our Westie) hated it, bless him! Clobber off, washing machine on. We had to drink wine until it finished. Didn’t put the light out til 2 am. It’s a hard life…
