Spittal Beach
At the southern end of Spittal Beach near Berwick upon Tweed sandstone rocks are visible at low tide. The textures and colours can keep a photographer happy for a good while, I should know as I was there for longer than I expected. Fortunately Helen is very patient and Wilf loves digging so all was well. This shot was taken looking towards Berwick Lighthouse using a neutral density filter to slow the shutter speed down to 13 seconds to create smoother waves and a bit of a surreal look to the sea.
